Christa Pike discharged from hospital and returned to Tennessee prison

Tennessee death-row prisoner Christa Gail Pike, 50, has been discharged from hospital and returned to the prison where she has spent 30 years, her lawyers said on 10 October 2026. The lawyers said she continues to receive medical care there after surviving two lethal injections of pentobarbital on 30 September.
