Petra Power eyes 2028 fuel-cell rollout with smaller clouds

Petra Power plans to deploy its ceramic solid oxide fuel cells — units that generate electricity from natural gas without burning it — with neocloud data-center customers, mid-sized cloud providers, in 2028, followed by full production in 2029. The roughly 15-employee company works below hyperscaler scale and has no firm hyperscaler deal.
