Mother seeks maximum sentence after three convicted of murdering surfers in Mexico

Debra Robinson, mother of Australian brothers Jake and Callum Robinson, asked a Mexican court for the maximum sentence after three Mexican nationals were convicted of murdering her sons and American Carter Rhoad during a 2024 surfing trip. "No sentence can bring Callum and Jake back," she said in a victim impact statement, "accountability matters."
