
Putin tells Trump immediate Ukraine peace talks unlikely, cites drone attacks
Russian President Vladimir Putin told US President Donald Trump on October 9 that an immediate resumption of trilateral peace talks with Ukraine is unlikely. Putin cited Ukrainian drone attacks on Moscow during Russia's parliamentary elections last month, according to Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov. Russia says it will now assess when negotiations can resume.
