Australian advocates urge subsidised GLP-1 drugs for PMOS

Australia's POSAA patient group is urging PBS subsidy of GLP-1 drugs for PMOS, formerly polycystic ovarian syndrome, which affects one in eight women. The drugs lack TGA approval for PMOS and are prescribed off-label, leaving patients to private prescriptions costing several hundred dollars a month.
