
Curtis Flowers, exonerated after 22 years on Mississippi death row, dies at 56
Curtis Flowers died Wednesday at his Mississippi home at age 56, his family confirmed through attorney Rob McDuff. He spent more than 22 years in prison and on death row for the 1996 murders of four people at a furniture store. The Supreme Court overturned his conviction in 2019; Mississippi dropped charges in 2020. No cause was given.
