Fired OpenAI safety researchers deny mishandling confidential information

Jasmine Wang, Tomek Korbak and Mikita Balesni published an Oct. 8 open letter to OpenAI's Safety and Security Committee, Safety Advisory Group and Mission Advisory Council denying OpenAI's claim they mishandled sensitive information outside established procedures. OpenAI says the three were dismissed for sharing confidential information with a third-party AI safety organization.
