Manus Parent Announces $500M-Plus Raise After Meta Deal Collapse

Butterfly Effect, parent of Chinese AI lab Manus, announced October 8, 2026 a raise of more than $500 million, its first round since its $2 billion Meta acquisition was called off. Boyu Capital and IDG Capital led, with Tencent, HSG and ZhenFund participating. Manus did not disclose valuation.
