Brown family warns Glasgow University it will be held to account

Family of 23-year-old Ethan Scott Brown put University of Glasgow on notice it "will be held to account" over his degree handling, solicitor Aamer Anwar said after 7 October 2026 meeting with education secretary Màiri McAllan in Edinburgh. Brown took his own life 13 December 2024, graduation day, after being told he would not receive honours.
