UK house prices flatlined in September 2026 at £298,441, unchanged from August and a year earlier, according to the Lloyds tracker formerly known as Halifax HPI. The reading published 7 October 2026 missed Reuters-polled forecasts of 0.1% monthly and 0.2% annual growth and followed a 0.3% fall in August.
