Anthropic says breach reporting driven by policy, not law

Anthropic's head of safeguards Dave Orr told parliament whether a company reports a breach of government data is most likely set by internal policy, not law. That's a problem for Canberra. It leaves disclosure resting on goodwill, not obligation, unless a specific duty bites.
