Reflection AI unveils Beam, first 501B open-weight model

Reflection AI unveiled Beam on October 5, 2026, its first open model. The 501B-parameter open-weight system uses sparse Mixture-of-Experts design with 23 billion active parameters, Reflection AI says. It is built for coding, reasoning and agentic tasks. Open weights mean users can inspect and fine-tune it themselves.
