Two killed, dozens hurt in Vienna, Georgia homecoming shooting

Two people were killed and at least 25 others were injured in a shooting at a homecoming block party in Vienna, Georgia, early on Oct. 4. Sheriff Craig Peavy said more than 1,000 people attended. Gunfire struck two locations about a block apart just after 1 a.m. Deputies were monitoring the crowd. About 25 people were taken to hospital.
