U.S. Marine Arrested on Suspicion of Murder in Okinawa

Okinawa police arrested U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Devin Jacob Ballard, 20, on Sunday on suspicion of murdering 39-year-old Anna Yagi at a Naha hotel. Yagi was found dead early Saturday and pronounced dead at the scene. Ballard denies the allegation. Okinawa hosts about 70% of U.S. military facilities in Japan, which bases about 54,000 U.S. personnel, mostly on Okinawa.
