India Orders Apple to Remove Dorsey's Bitchat Under Section 69A

Jack Dorsey said October 3, 2026, that India's Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology ordered Apple to remove Bitchat from its India App Store under Section 69A of the IT Act. Apple said the decentralized Bluetooth-mesh messaging app would remain available outside India, with TestFlight access blocked in India.
