69% of Americans Say U.S.-Israel War on Iran Not Worth Fighting

An AP-NORC survey of more than 2,000 U.S. adults released Oct. 1 found 69% say the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran has not been worth fighting, up five points since July. 71% disapprove of President Donald Trump's handling of Iran. I see rising opposition narrowing Washington's room to sustain a prolonged campaign without a clearer end state.
