Bishop beat Andersen in Hutt South by 1,332 votes in 2023

National's Chris Bishop won Hutt South in 2023 ahead of Labour's Ginny Andersen, according to Electoral Commission results. His margin was 1,332 votes. Turnout in the electorate was 81.12%. National and Labour each took more than 30 percent of the vote, with the Greens third on 15 percent, RNZ reported.
