EDF chief urges UK to approve Rosebank and Jackdaw oil and gas fields

EDF Energy chief Simone Rossi urged ministers to approve the Rosebank and Jackdaw North Sea fields, saying new oil and gas projects are a "no-brainer" that pose "no contradiction" to the net zero agenda. He told the BBC Britain will need fossil fuels for decades and should favour domestic supply. The government was preparing to decide on the projects.
