Apple fixes iOS 27 Face ID bug that rebooted iPhone 18 Pro models

Apple released iOS 27.0.1 on September 28 to fix Face ID authentication failures on iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max. Owners reported devices that "restart unexpectedly" after failed authentication, which Apple confirmed in September. The update applies to iPhone 11 and later, with no published CVE entries.
