Supreme Court lets Trump deport migrants to third countries without humanitarian challenge

The Supreme Court voted 6-3 on Sept. 29 to let the Trump administration deport noncitizens to third countries without allowing them to contest removal on risk of persecution or torture. The conservative majority lifted a lower-court notice requirement pending December arguments on whether the policy violates immigration law and due process.
