Apple Pay to Launch in India With Axis Bank

Apple Pay is set to launch in India on September 29, 2026, with Axis Bank as its initial banking partner. Eligible Axis Bank customers will be able to add credit cards to Apple Wallet for online purchases and contactless payments at enabled terminals. Acceptance will initially be limited to merchants enabled for the service.
