Five tech megacaps drove 93% of the S&P 500's rise since late July, according to MarketWatch. That means the index's gain rests on a handful of giant companies, while the other 495 stocks added little. For savers in index funds, I'm wary because a wobble in those few names hits the whole benchmark.
