MoEngage Acquires Aampe to Run Individual AI Agents Per Customer

MoEngage completed an all-cash acquisition of Aampe, a startup that assigns a dedicated AI agent to each customer. The deal moves MoEngage's customer engagement platform from rules-based segment logic toward per-user autonomous agents handling personalization independently. At scale, this means millions of concurrent agents making individual decisions on messaging, timing, and channel. MoEngage raised $280 million through mid-June 2026 to fund the engineering and infrastructure costs required.
