Burnham to signal review of pension triple lock for next manifesto

Andy Burnham planned to use his first speech as Labour leader to the party conference in Liverpool on 29 September 2026 to suggest the state pension triple lock should be reviewed for the next manifesto. Labour says it will keep the triple lock for this parliament.
