Discord to Begin Rolling Out Experimental Game Mode Next Week

Discord will begin rolling out experimental Game Mode next week, cutting the client's CPU and GPU usage during gameplay. The Electron-based chat client will shed overhead for in-game sessions, following screenshots of the toggle circulating over the weekend. Discord confirmed the schedule Sept. 28 and said further resource-saving features will follow.
