Mahmood to announce immediate reopening of UK resettlement scheme

Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood will announce the immediate reopening of the UK Resettlement Scheme. The Home Office said the route stopped taking new applicants in December 2024. Ministers expect hundreds to arrive in the first phase under the scheme and new sponsorship routes.
