Tribunal finds no clear plan replaced Te Aka Whai Ora

The Waitangi Tribunal found the Government had no clear alternative for Māori health when it disestablished Te Aka Whai Ora on 30 June 2024, causing a "significant lag" of nearly 18 months. The Tribunal said Crown intentions did not materialise in action. The finding is in Part 2 of its priority report, released 25 September 2026.
