Meta's Teen Accounts Team Ordered 'a/c priv' Hats

Meta's Project Nido team, which built Instagram Teen Accounts launched in 2024, ordered baseball caps reading "a/c priv" for attorney-client privilege. Plaintiffs in teen-safety litigation argue the hats are part of a "culture of privilege abuse at Meta." Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers called some privilege redactions "entirely inappropriate."
