Elizabeth Holmes Scheduled for Halfway House Transfer in August 2027

Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes is scheduled to leave the federal prison in Bryan, Texas, for the Austin Transitional Center in Del Valle on Aug. 23, 2027. ABC News first reported the plan, confirmed by NYT and NBC, with victims notified by the Bureau of Prisons. Holmes, 42, was sentenced in 2022 to over 11 years for defrauding investors.
