Databricks Announces Acquisition of Row Zero

Databricks announced its acquisition of Row Zero on September 24, 2026. Terms were not disclosed. Row Zero, founded by former AWS and Tableau engineers, builds a cloud spreadsheet scaling beyond one million live rows. Databricks said Row Zero will combine spreadsheet simplicity and flexibility with auditability, security and governance.
