Microsoft raises Surface entry prices, sets 16GB RAM minimum

Microsoft will price the Surface Pro 12-inch Second Edition from $1,149.99 and the Surface Laptop 13-inch Second Edition from $1,199.99, up from $799.99 and $899.99. Both will start at 16GB of RAM, configurable to 24GB, ending the 8GB tier.
