Zelenskyy Proposes Mutual Energy Ceasefire After Trump Talks

Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine remains ready for a bilateral energy ceasefire after a 40-minute meeting with Donald Trump in New York on Sept. 22. Ukraine would halt strikes on Russian energy facilities if Moscow stops targeting Ukrainian electricity, heating and water. Zelenskyy called the talks positive and productive, with no discussion of unilaterally ending attacks on the Russian oil industry.
