U.S. Makes First Bid to Extradite Citizen Over Alleged Hamas Support

The U.S. is seeking to extradite U.S. citizen James 'Fergie' Chambers, imprisoned in Madrid after detention in Ibiza on 10 July, over alleged Hamas support tied to donations for Palestinians, including the Sameer Project in Gaza. It is the first known U.S. attempt to extradite a citizen over alleged Hamas support.
