New Found Glory founding guitarist Chad Gilbert dies at 45

New Found Glory founding guitarist Chad Gilbert died on the morning of 20 September aged 45 after a battle with brain cancer, according to a joint announcement by his wife Lisa Cimorelli and his bandmates. He died in his sleep with his wife and mother by his side. He first disclosed the diagnosis in 2021.
