Voting opens for 2026 Victorian Tree of the Year with nine finalists

Voting opened at 9am on 22 September for the 2026 Victorian Tree of the Year, run by the National Trust of Victoria. Nine finalists were chosen from more than 40 nominations. Anyone can vote on the National Trust website until midnight on 22 October 2026. The contest, started in 2016, promotes awareness and protection of significant trees.
