Lib Dems appoint Newby to lead review on faith and inclusion

The Liberal Democrats have appointed former Lords leader Richard Newby to chair a review of treatment of candidates and members of different faiths and those without faith. Ed Davey announced the review before the Brighton conference after the party admitted religious discrimination against ex-candidate David Campanale. I will watch whether systemic recommendations survive a parallel dispute over damages.
