BC lawsuit alleges Altman overruled staff push to warn police before school shooting

British Columbia alleges in its San Francisco federal suit that OpenAI safety staff recommended alerting police about Jesse Van Rootselaar, but CEO Sam Altman and leaders overruled them, citing whistleblowers who spoke to the Wall Street Journal.
