National accuses Labour of "rank hypocrisy" over landlord tax

National campaign chair Simeon Brown has called Labour's decision to retain landlord interest deductibility "rank hypocrisy". Labour leader Chris Hipkins ruled out changes if Labour is elected, according to RNZ. Brown questioned how Labour would fund its policies without extra revenue. Hipkins said he did not want to risk higher rents for people already struggling.
