Trump administration prepares sweeping sanctions on ICC as institution

Trump administration is preparing sanctions targeting the International Criminal Court as an institution, the Wall Street Journal reported, with a decision possible during UN General Assembly week of September 21. The measures would prohibit most transactions with the court after a six-to-seven-month grace period. Washington has sanctioned more than a dozen ICC judges and prosecutors.
