Every Crown Court in England and Wales to get specialist rape-case courtroom

Prime Minister Andy Burnham announced plans for every Crown Court in England and Wales to have at least one specialist courtroom for rape and serious sexual offences within two years. The rooms will have private entrances, waiting areas and facilities for pre-recorded evidence. Burnham said prosecution rates for rape remained "shamefully low."
