Pakistan police detain Imran Khan's sister ahead of PTI march

Police in Lahore detained Aleema Khanum, sister of imprisoned former prime minister Imran Khan, on Sept. 20 ahead of planned PTI protests. Police confirmed the arrest to the BBC; PTI called it an "illegal detention." Khan has been jailed since 2023. PTI plans a march to Islamabad on Sept. 27.
