Ukraine says it fired domestic Pelican ballistic missile for first time

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine used its domestically produced Pelican short-range ballistic missile in Sept. 20 strikes on Moscow and elsewhere in Russia, the first acknowledged ballistic-missile use by Kyiv in the full-scale war. The Pelican's estimated range is about 350km. The announcement signals a new domestic strike capability.
