Lib Dems would seek EU deals on single market, customs union and defence

Liberal Democrat deputy leader Daisy Cooper said the party would seek a Growth and Defence Partnership with the EU. She told the party's conference in Brighton it would cover the single market, a customs union and defence. She said it was the "single biggest growth lever" through deeper ties with Europe.
