Badenoch says Conservatives seek legal advice over Wandsworth funding cut

Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch told BBC Newsnight the party has instructed lawyers to examine whether an £84m-a-year funding cut behind Wandsworth's proposed council tax rise can be challenged. She said the proposed 94% rise was "outrageous" but the council is "not doing it because they want to". Ministers said they are reforming an "outdated" funding system.
