Zoox's 100-vehicle Nevada limit expires September 25, 2026

Amazon-owned Zoox's Nevada Transportation Authority permit capping it at 100 robotaxis expires September 25, 2026. Las Vegas is its only fare-charging market, hosting more than 30 of its roughly 100 custom-built, steering-wheel-free vehicles. Zoox began paid rides there in August 2026 under an NHTSA exemption covering up to 2,500 vehicles annually for two years.
