Man sentenced to 14 months for vinegar attack on Rep. Ilhan Omar

Anthony Kazmierczak, 56, was sentenced to 14 months in prison for spraying Rep. Ilhan Omar with vinegar at a Minneapolis town hall on 27 January. U.S. District Judge Joan N. Ericksen imposed the sentence after a deal with prosecutors. Kazmierczak had pleaded guilty to assaulting a U.S. officer; Omar was not injured.
