Government plans to cut retirement village repayment wait to nine months

A leaked document obtained by RNZ shows the Government plans to cut the maximum repayment time for former retirement village residents from 12 months to nine months. Associate Housing Minister Tama Potaka said older New Zealanders said 12 months was still too long. Changes are expected next Parliamentary term.
