FAA Says Aircraft Laser Strikes Down 24% Through July 2026

Pilots reported 4,470 laser strikes between January and July 2026, down 24 percent from the same period in 2025, the FAA reported. The decrease extends the decline to a third consecutive year following a record in 2021.
