Huawei pulls Ascend 960DT AI chip launch forward to Q1 2027

Huawei plans to launch its Ascend 960DT AI chip in Q1 2027, two quarters ahead of its prior Q3 target. Rotating chairman David Wang disclosed the accelerated timeline at Huawei Connect on September 17, 2026. Huawei said demand for its AI chips outstrips supply.
