Syria court issues first verdicts in March 2025 coastal killings

Syria's military criminal court in Aleppo issued first verdicts over the March 2025 coastal killings of Alawites, sentencing two supporters of the deposed government to death and life in prison and a former government forces member to 20 years, acquitting a fourth. Further indictments will test Damascus's pledge of justice.
